Software Developer

Worked on Palm Free, a therapeutic game improving dexterity in stroke rehabilitation patients for a clinical trial. Implemented persistent game data storage and retrieval systems using Unity’s PlayerPrefs framework, as well as designed and refined user interface elements. Authored and maintained structured technical documentation (MIS-style) and adhered to research ethics protocol while implementing founder-requested features.

Graduated Mechatronics Engineering and Biomedical Engineering

Finished a 5 year B.Eng.BME program at McMaster University in which I studied all concepts of pure mechatronics engineering while taking biomedical engineering and health sciences courses. I participated in multiple clubs and activities, and mentored in SRHacks, DeltaHacks, and volunteered in McMaster Design League and Ontario Engineering Competition.

Research Assistant

I worked in McMaster's W Booth School of Engineering Practice and Technology and developed an algorithm that ranks CAR T-cell therapy targets on the basis of predicted efficacy for autoimmune diseases using single cell RNA sequence data. As soon as I started, I started learning machine learning from scratch, and was able to produce an algorithm at the end that Scleroderma Canada invited me to give a short presentation on for World Scleroderma Day.

Math and Physics Tutor

Tutored students between grades 6 and 12. Offered 125 tutoring sessions in the 2023-2024 school year. Some students came back for the 2024-2025 school year, and multiple students came through referrals.

Muslim Association of Canada

Web Developer and Tester

Working in Muslim Association of Canada's web development team, I facilitated routine testing for a student information system platform by creating 28 automated test cases with Java and Selenium and found over 20 bugs, some of which were high priority. I also wrote a 20 page comprehensive user documentation with SharePoint for future platform users, testers, and developers, also including an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD).
